Now you can be part of the amazing team at Candela! We are looking for a Senior Composite Manufacturing Engineer to join Candela’s Manufacturing Engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of the serial production implementation of our advanced composite structures, including major hull components, deck structures, internal bulkheads, and exterior body parts. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role. You won’t just optimize processes on a screen; you will actively bridge the gap between R&D laminate designs and stable, scalable shop-floor execution. You’ll ensure our composite production is robust, repeatable, and seamlessly integrated into our main assembly lines.
What you'll do
Drive Industrialization: Lead the transition of composite structures from R&D prototypes to high-quality, stable serial production, optimizing for cycle time, cost, and repeatability.
Optimize Processes: Develop, evaluate, and enhance composite manufacturing methods (including vacuum resin infusion, compression moulding and wet layup) specifically for large-scale carbon fiber body parts.
Tooling & Equipment: Design and develop specialized production tooling, molds, assembly fixtures, and workshop templates to improve lamination and trimming accuracy.
CAD & Documentation: Create detailed assembly drawings, ply-book documentation, work instructions, and installation standards in CAD.
DFM Collaboration: Work closely with Research & Development to provide critical Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) feedback, ensuring laminate schedules and joint designs are optimized for production stability.
Quality & Validation: Establish process controls for layup, curing, trimming, bonding, and assembly. Lead troubleshooting efforts for production defects (e.g. structural and surface defects or bonding issues).
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all composite manufacturing processes, chemical handling, and equipment comply with applicable environmental, health, and occupational safety regulations.
Hands-on Prototyping: Participate actively in shop-floor testing, trial layups, first-article inspections, and the validation of new composite materials like fabrics, core materials, resins or adhesive systems.



What are we looking for?
Education: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Marine Engineering or an equivalent technical field with a focus on composites.
Experience: 5–10+ years of experience in composite manufacturing engineering, preferably within marine, automotive, or aerospace industries handling large-scale carbon fiber structures.
Technical Depth: Deep understanding of composite manufacturing and repair techniques like: vacuum infusion, compression moulding, wet lamination and bonding. Experience in surface finishing processes like fairing and painting is beneficial (especially marine painting systems)
CAD Proficiency: Competency in CAD design and mechanical/composite documentation (Catia v5 / 3DEXPERIENCE preferred).
ERP and/or PLM documentation management
Mindset: A practical, hands-on engineering approach. You are equally comfortable reviewing a 3D model and working alongside operators on the shop floor.
Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical requirements clearly across disciplines.
Language: Fluent in English; Swedish is a definite plus.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to Candelas Manufacturing Engineering team to take ownership of the serial production implementation of a multitude of subsystems such as Interior installations and different marine systems. This is a hands-on role — you’ll design, plan, and document in CAD, but also install and test systems yourself. You’ll ensure that systems are robust, serviceable, and seamlessly integrated within Candela’s electric hydrofoiling vessels. This role involves close cross-functional collaboration with Research & Development, Production, Purchasing and Industrial design teams to turn R&D designs into reliable, Serial producible processes and designs.

Lead daily planning: morning meetings, task allocation, structured daily plans for team members, and end?of?day follow?ups including production time reporting

Your core responsibilities will include:
Working hands-on on building boats - mounting of hardware on the walls, trimming, laminating, assembling and finishing composite parts
Choosing the appropriate composite materials (fibers, resins, adhesives) based on the project requirements
Maintain equipment, molds, and tools
Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and delivery targets
Document your work according to company guidelines

What are we looking for?
You are a curious and handy person that wants to help us create those incredible boats! You should have experience working with different power and handy tools and focus on quality and precision. If you have experience from production/workshop setting, that will help you understand quicker our pace. Your core responsibilities will include:

Manage daily purchasing operations for an assigned supplier portfolio. This includes monitoring replenishment parameters to ensure orders are placed in a timely matter.


Ensure high availability of parts and resolve supply chain issues proactively.


Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data in Excel and Odoo (ERP-system).


Build a close collaboration with your suppliers and have continuous follow up to confirm delivery dates and resolve discrepancies.


Closely collaborate with team internally (sourcing, production, quality, etc.) to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

What are we looking for?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable person to temporarily join our Supply Chain team during a parental leave period. We need a team player that has great communications skills that you will use daily in communication with suppliers. The role is a part of the Supply Chain team working closely to production as well as Strategic sourcing, R&D and external suppliers. The goal of the team is to ensure a high parts availability and increase profitability.
Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in operational purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (ideally from manufacturing industry).


Proficiency in ERP/Inventory software and can easily familiarize with new business systems.


Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Your core responsibilities will include:
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans to build custom cabinets and furniture for the interior of our boats
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble Composite parts, and other materials.
Operate and maintain machinery such as saws, routers, jointers, and planers.
Install completed Interior panels on-site according to project specifications and client expectations.

What are we looking for?
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter / Finsnickare with hands-on experience in designing, constructing, and installing high-quality custom cabinetry and interior panels. The ideal candidate should be proficient in working with a variety of materials, reading technical drawings, and operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
At least 1-2 years of experience as a carpenter / finsnickare ideally working on detailed interiors – if you have experience within boating, bus, train or special vehicles interiors (caravans, service/emergency vehicles) it will be a huge advantage!
Be able to communicate in English as it is required in your daily work
Knowledge of joinery techniques, and finishing methods.
Proficiency with hand tools and machinery.

Your core responsibilities will include:
Working hands-on on building boats - mounting of hardware on the walls, trimming, laminating, assembling and finishing composite parts
Choosing the appropriate composite materials (fibers, resins, adhesives) based on the project requirements
Maintain equipment, molds, and tools
Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and delivery targets
Document your work according to company guidelines

What are we looking for?
You are a curious and handy person that wants to help us create those incredible boats! You should have experience working with different power and handy tools and focus on quality and precision. If you have experience from production/workshop setting, that will help you understand quicker our pace. You have the ability to learn fast and a willingness to be part of a diverse team with high working pace and short decision paths. You are also comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with chemicals involved in the process and used to or willing to use all necessary PPE.

Your core responsibilities will include:
Set-up and perform the final stage of the production process, commissioning and testing, for all vessels that are close to completion.
Commissioning entails the system start-up, software validation and calibration.
Testing entails performing real-life sea trails out in the water following a customer acceptance protocol.
Follow the protocol for all issues found during the commission and testing stages and ensure they are resolved effectively.
Ensure that all vessels meet the quality criteria before being handed over to Logistics.
Review and update blueprints and instructions.
Document your work according to company guidelines.
Follow all safety protocols within the workshop and out at sea.


What are we looking for?
You are experienced within both mechanic and electrical/electronic field with a passion for innovation and quality work. You like go be thorough and precise, paying attention to details and being curious about alternative solutions. You like working in a team and tend to be proactive within your role. If boats are your hobby it's a huge plus, but any technical hobbies can be a great advantage!
Requirements:
Have few years of experience working as a Mechanic, Technician, Electrical technician, Service technician or ideally Marine technician.
Have experience in working with and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems, both for low and high voltage systems.
Have a strong foundation when it comes to issue identification and problem solving.
Experience with workshop tools and diagnostics software.
Experience in shopfloor environments or workshop.

Working hands-on on building boats - mounting of hardware on the walls, trimming, laminating, assembling and finishing composite parts
Choosing the appropriate composite materials (fibers, resins, adhesives) based on the project requirements
Maintain equipment, molds, and tools
Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and delivery targets
Document your work according to company guidelines

Who are you?
You have experience from hands-on/practical work either from a production site or a workshop where the focus has been on finish and precision. You are also comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with chemicals involved in the process and used to or willing to use all necessary PPE.

Experience in production environments or similar hands-on work

You can be part of the amazing team in Candela now! We are looking for Commissioning & Testing technician to support Candela’s future growth ambitions.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Set-up and perform the final stage of the production process, commissioning and testing, for all vessels that are close to completion.
Commissioning entails the system start-up, software validation and calibration.
Testing entails performing real-life sea trails out in the water following a customer acceptance protocol.
Follow the protocol for all issues found during the commission and testing stages and ensure they are resolved effectively.
Ensure that all vessels meet the quality criteria before being handed over to Logistics.
Review and update blueprints and instructions.
Document your work according to company guidelines.
Follow all safety protocols within the workshop and out at sea.

What are we looking for?
You are experienced within both mechanic and electrical/electronic field with a passion for innovation and quality work. You like go be thorough and precise, paying attention to details and being curious about alternative solutions. You like working in a team and tend to be proactive within your role. If boats are your hobby it's a huge plus, but any technical hobbies can be a great advantage!
Requirements:
Have few years of experience working as a Mechanic, Technician, Electrical technician, Service technician or ideally Marine technician.
Have experience in working with and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems, both for low and high voltage systems.
Have a strong foundation when it comes to issue identification and problem solving.
Experience with workshop tools and diagnostics software.
Experience in shopfloor environments or workshop.
A strong attention to detail and high internal quality standards.
Excellent English written, reading and oral skills.

It would be preferred if you:
Experience within boating industry (even as a hobby)
Knowledge of Swedish
Having a "B extended" and/or "C1E" driver's licence

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans to build custom cabinets and furniture for the interior of our boats.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble Composite parts, and other materials.

Install completed Interior panels on-site according to project specifications and client expectations.
Ensure precision, quality, and attention to detail.

What are we looking for?

Who are you?
This role is key to ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on inventory management, goods receiving, storage, and shipping. Working hands-on on building boats - mounting of hardware on the walls, trimming, laminating, assembling and finishing composite parts
Choosing the appropriate composite materials (fibers, resins, adhesives) based on the project requirements
Maintain equipment, molds, and tools
Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and delivery targets

Who are you?

Efter- och kvalitetskontrollera delar för att säkerställa de uppfyller specifikationer och kvalitetsmål.
Dokumentera ditt arbete enligt Candelas riktlinjer.
Granska ritningar och instruktioner.
Följa säkerhetsprotokoll.

We at Candela strive to re-think efficiency in marine transportation to radically push the performance boundaries of electric boats and ships.
Due to the launch of the C-8 and an increased demand of our boats we are scaling up the pace in production and are looking for Production workers to our hull, deck, and other carbon fibre parts production teams.
Core responsibilities:
Produce, trim, assemble, and finish composite parts for our latest model
Maintain equipment, molds, and tools
Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and delivery targets
Document your work according to company guidelines
Follow all safety protocols
Review blueprints and instructions

Who are you?
You have experience from hands-on/practical work. Probably from a production site or a workshop where the focus has been on finish and precision.

Experience in production environments or similar hands-on work
Attention to detail and high-quality standards
To be physically allowed to work in an environment where you are exposed to dust particles and chemicals
To be able to stand for extended periods and work hands-on

Become an expert in the complete mechanic system belonging to the most advanced serial produced leisure boats today containing in-house designed.
Pre-assembly and mounting different sub-systems of the boat.
Repairing and solving the mechanical issues of the boat.
Conducting quality control checks of the sub-system assembled in pre-assembly.
Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement.

Become a master of the complete electrical system belonging to the most advanced serial produced leisure boats today containing in-house designed electronics, high-voltage drive-train, and a various flight control sensors.

Who are you?
You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay thorough and focused by being organized and well structured. Most importantly, you think the products we are developing and producing are really cool.
To be successful in the role:
You have experience and knowledge in working with a wide range of electrical systems.
You are used to using and understanding electrical schematics.
You have experience or at least a strong interest in EV systems
