Core responsibilities:


Work in the electrical workshop with pre-assembly of in-house designed electrical components.

Work in the boats with installation of electrical components and cables.

Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement.

Working closely with manufacturing engineering and following guidelines and work instructions given by the company.

Follow rules and regulations working with personal protective equipment given by the company.
Working in an international environment - our corporate language is English (including production).


What are we looking for?
You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay focused by being organized and well structured. You enjoy interacting with people with a wide range of backgrounds and experience and have the ability to motivate and achieve results through others. And most importantly, you think the products we are developing and producing are really cool!
To be successful in the role:


You have technical education in the electrical field or equivalent experience

You have experience and knowledge in working with a wide range of electrical and testing tools

You can read and understand electrical schematics/drawings - we need you to be fully autonomous when reading schematics

Be able to stand for extended periods and work hands-on as well as working within tight spaces

Be able to communicate in English as it is required in your daily work


It is a bonus if you have:


Experience of working with both low and high voltage systems

Experience from working in the boating/automotive industry

MarinElektro söker dig som vill ha teknik- och problemlösningsutmaningar varje dag. Du älskar ny och gammal teknik. Du kanske definierar dig själv som en tekniknörd som vill blomma ut och få utlopp för din kreativitet? Du tycker om att både reparera och installera teknisk utrustning. Du kastar dig gärna in i en trasig och okänd apparat utan ritningar för att reparera den. Du felsöker och åtgärdar problem med entusiasm så att 150 passagerare kan ta färjan till sommarparadiset. Du gläds över att kunna hjälpa en kund att fortsätta framföra sitt fartyg på ett säkert sätt.
Ett fartyg, stort som litet är ett samhälle i sig. Elkraft ska produceras och distribueras säkert och utan avbrott. Mängder med data från sensorer och givare ska tas om hand och presenteras på ett överskådligt sätt för att skapa bra beslutsunderlag för besättningen. Kommunikationssystem ska fungera villkorslöst för att möjliggöra kommunikation med andra fartyg och nödsignalering för att förebygga allvarliga händelser.
Vi söker dig som har:
Ett genuint tekniskt intresse med böjelse för el och elektronik
Kunskap om elsystem på fartyg eller industrier
Förståelse för komplexa styrsystem

Som anställd kommer du att finna dig till rätta inom några av följande ämnen:
Marin systemteknik: Navigationssystem, marina nätverk, GPS, radiokommunikation, övervakningssystem, larm.
Automation: Programmering och simulering av PLC-program, styrningar till framdrivningsmaskiner och hjälpmaskinerier (generatorer).
Elteknik: Beräkning, och konstruktion av elsystem, reparationer och underhåll.
Dokumentation: Tillverkning av ritningar, driftsanvisningar och rapporter.

Hur ser arbetet ut?
Du kommer mestadels att vara ute på våra kunders båtar och fartyg i Stockholmsområdet. Där genomför du installation och service på egen hand eller tillsammans med kollegor.
Arbetet utförs till 90% på dagtid. Jouruppdrag förekommer.
Du kommer att ha direktkontakt med många kunder. I många fall kommer du att vara delaktig i din egen arbetsplanering.
