We are looking for a new Retail Performance & Contract manager.
As a Retail Performance & Contract manager, you will be responsible for the monitoring of retail network and our authorized partners financial and contractual performance within the legal entities of the Sales company - NSC.
Together with the team in Retail Development department, you will support our authorized partners with implementation of strategic initiatives for the future in the automotive industry. You will work closely together with the colleagues in the departments and with our local Nordic markets (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltics) as well as other internal stakeholders within the BMW Group Northern Europe with the focus of building a strong and viable business for the future of automotive retail.


What awaits you?
Contract management for the authorized BMW/MINI network in the Nordic region.
Contractual coordination as part of the introduction of the BMW Agency model in the region (including contractual structures, reimbursements, guidelines/processes and further roll-out topics together with the Agency project team).
Performance follow-up alignment with the existing contractual formats currently in operation together with the Nordic markets.
Contractual compliance related topics including training, awareness and implementation of relevant contractual compliance schemes.
Financial compliance (management and enforcement of collateral requirements).
Support in other strategic projects as relevant from time to time within the area of Retail and Business development for BMW and MINI in the Nordics.



What should you bring along?
Experience and interest in operational contract management, preferably with a legal background and a degree in law.
Genuine interest in financial analytical reviews as well as KPI steering and follow-up.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Swedish/Nordic languages.

Pre-Requisites for the role:

In this position you are responsible for the Residual Value Risk Management for Sweden and you will have great opportunity being part of building the function and responsibilities to ensure a proper RV Risk Management within the company. Even though it is focus on Sweden it will also be a lot of interaction and support to/from the RV Risk colleagues in both Denmark and Norway.
In this function your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
You will be responsible for proactively managing RV risks and setting risk parameters in accordance with both, economic projections and the risk strategy/appetite of the BMW Financial Services Region SF1-NE, with focus on Sweden.
You assure that residual value risks are anticipated, identified, analyzed and communicated appropriately within the company as well as in the central functions. In case of central (HQ) or local regulatory risk requirements you make sure that SF1-NE is compliant with these regulations at all times.
Within this role you will focus on data analytics, regular evaluations of our risk bearing portfolios, risk reporting to internal and external stakeholder, back testing of set residual values, risk appetite calculations, pro-active risk analysis of our Operating Lease portfolios, leading and initiating measures as well as many more exciting topics.
The RV Risk Management in the SF1-NE region is in a development phase and with the current transformation going on in the Auto industry it will also be a lot of focus to develop methodologies, processes and tools to ensure a proper Risk Management for residual value setting.
You enjoy the international mindset and grasp the big picture where you will have many contacts towards different stakeholders within the Group and within the different business lines. A key is also to closely interact with our external partners.
Pre-Requisites for the role:
You hold a University degree in Business Administration or Economics. You have gained at least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in the automotive and/or financial industry. You have a good understanding of structures and business processes within BMW Group NSCs, NFSCs and Alphabet operations.
To be successful in the role you need a high degree of own initiative, endurance and consistency combined with integrative capabilities. You combine this with a very good and convincing communication and presentation skills and the ability to tailor these activities for different target groups including senior management.
You are experienced in processing and analyzing complex data and have distinctive analytical skills. You have deep knowledge and are interested in the automotive industry. You have fun in analyzing data and use them for deriving conclusions and measures. We expect you to be self-motivated, results-driven and have a strong attention to detail.

What awaits you?
As Head of Product Management and Pricing in the Northern European region, you will be leading a team of 8 (consisting of Product Managers & Specialists). You will be responsible for the entire BMW product portfolio in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Furthermore, you have a central role as the link between BMW's local Northern Europe organization and the head office in Munich.
About the role and your responsibilities:
To define the optimal NE region product and pricing portfolio strategy through expert adaptation of the BMW HQ offer, considering factors including financial contribution, volume, competitive situation, market conditions, brand, social trends and product positioning.
To maximize new car volume and profit opportunities for BMW NE through the development, implementation and communication of relevant product actions, digital services offerings, pricing measures, and positioning strategies.
Overall responsibility for product positioning, pricing, launches plus ongoing lifecycle activities across the entire BMW portfolio to maximize profitability, satisfaction and support volume achievement.
Lead the definition of and implementation of the market strategy for Digital Services and Technology.
Lead and manage a team of eight handling the entire area of BMW product management of new vehicles within the NE region to ensure that all cross company activities are aligned in achieving a successful vehicle launch to dealers and customers.
Consider increasingly volatile and uncertain market conditions, growing complexity plus increasingly emissions-focused government and local authority taxation landscape driving requirement for lower emission/alternative drivetrain vehicles within the NE region. Moreover, an exceptionally broad product portfolio still need to be managed through multiple complex systems to ensure seamless customer and retailer buying/selling experience.
Develop strong and effective relationships with key senior stakeholders within the HQ & European organization in order that BMW NE is fully involved and consulted on all issues affecting the NE product offer. Appropriate share of voice in influencing central decisions is key.
Lead, manage and develop the product team utilizing an effective management structure and approach to ensure all team members understand their accountabilities and are motivated to achieve the departmental and company business targets.
Ongoing people management, staff development, recruitment and selection.
Responsible for product and price related communication for internal departments, retailers and during events.
Handle incoming inquiries on product-related topics from internal departments as well as the dealer network
Constantly drive, develop and improve the processes and product development in an efficient and profitable way.


What should you bring along?
Experience of management level in the automotive industry, preferably from the Product area. A high level of commercial awareness is required together with the ability to think creatively and laterally over a range of complex issues, often under pressure. Self-motivation, as well as creative and structured problem-solving abilities are essential.
Experience of working with Directors to build, validate and refine plans.
Clear visual and written presentation and communication skills along with motivational attributes are necessary.
University degree in economics, technology/engineering, marketing or other relevant education.
It’s a plus if you have worked in a regional setup, and even better in a Nordic / Northern European organization.
Work experience of pricing, sales and in-depth understanding of the Northern European market.
Experience in product- and price-related communication internally and externally.
Basic technical knowledge and a genuine interest in cars.



In this role, you get to work in an international environment and immerse yourself in BMW's products and technology. You will play a central role in the link between the BMW Markets, the central Northern European organization and the headquarters in Munich in all product related topics, including pricing.
You are someone who wants to develop together with BMW and like to share your knowledge and experience. As Head of Product management, you are strategic, analytical and have very good social/communication skills. We also see that you are driven, organized and have good problem-solving abilities. Managing MS Office systems on a high level is required. You should speak and write freely in English. Fluency, or good knowledge, in any of the Nordic languages and/or German is meritorious.
